Katia Marin

LNA Nurse

Katia Marin is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her educational journey began with a Masters in Education, specializing in special needs. Her linguistic prowess extends beyond her native Portuguese, encompassing fluency in English, Spanish and Italian.


Katia's pursuit of excellence led her to the United States for an internship, during which she furthered her education, including ESL classes. This marked the inception of her esteemed nursing career. Starting as a proficient phlebotomist, she transitioned to become a Nursing Assistant with a specialized focus on wound care. Her dedication and drive ultimately culminated in obtaining licensure as a Licensed Nursing Coordinator in Arizona.


For over two decades, Katia worked in the emergency rooms of Mercy Gilbert and Chandler Regional hospitals, demonstrating exceptional proficiency and unwavering commitment to patient care. Her transition to Dayspring five years ago marked a pivotal moment in her career, where she embraced natural remedies and embarked on a Nutripuncture course to further enhance her ability to support patients.


Katia's passion for her work is palpable, evident in the profound impact she has on patients and their families. The gratitude expressed through gestures and special gifts of appreciation stand as a testament to the positive influence she wields to Dayspring, our patients, and their families.


Beyond her professional pursuits, Katia's zest for life finds expression in her love for travel, where she revels in immersing herself in new cultures and forging connections with people worldwide. While at home, her cherished niece and nephew hold a special place in her heart.
